The liberal media in this country has been in an uproar this week about comments President Trump allegedly made during a cabinet meeting discussing immigration with a bipartisan group of Senators.
Several Senators, including Dick Durbin and Lindsey Graham accused Trump of calling certain countries “shithole countries” and asking why we are focused on increasing immigration from these countries instead of places like Norway.
President Trump and the White House have denied these allegations.
“The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made – a big setback for DACA!”
Senator Rand Paul went on “Meet the Press” Sunday morning to give his take on the remarks by President Trump and the allegations from Democrats that he is racist.
“I know personally about his feelings toward Haiti and toward Central American because … I went down there on a medical mission trip. I did about 200 cataract surgeries with a group of surgeons in Haiti and the same in Central America and when we asked Donald J. Trump, as a private citizen, to support the trips he was a large financial backer of those medical mission trips. So, I think it’s unfair to draw conclusions from a remark [made during this meeting.]”
BOOM! This is the kind of stuff that liberals hate hearing because it completely destroys their false narrative that they constantly push.
