Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took a trip to India this week, where she spoke about her theory of who was to blame for her election loss. Spoiler alert, she still does not think it was her fault.
“All that red in the middle, where Trump won, what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward.”
Essentially she is calling Trump voters uneducated, which couldn’t be further from the truth. She also accused women of voting for Trump only after being told to by their husbands.
“We do not do well with white men and we don’t do well with married, white women. And part of that is an identification with the Republican party, and a sort of ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your son, whoever, believes you should.”
Kellyanne Conway stopped by Fox News this morning and gave Hillary a brutal wakeup call regarding women in America.
“Let me tell you something, lady, the idea that I or other women like me have to ask our husbands how to vote – it’s really a joke, particularly since… this country knows who you are first and foremost because of who you married.”
BOOM! Someone actually said it. Hillary has been riding Bill Clinton’s coattails ever since he began his political career. So for her to accuse American conservative women of “bending to the wills of their husbands” to vote for Donald Trump is just ridiculous.
Former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee agreed with Conway’s sentiments on Twitter.
“Hillary goes to India and says Southern women voted the way their husbands told them to. Hillary needs help. She may have lived a few years in the South but ain’t like no Southern woman I know (certainly not my wife or daughter ) who wouldn’t cotton to being told!”
