President Trump continued his meetings today with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House. They began the day with a welcoming ceremony, accompanied by First Ladies Melania Trump and Brigitte Macron.
Then, Trump and Macron held an informal press conference in the Oval Office where they spoke at length about the ridiculous Iran deal.
“That was a terrible deal. We paid $150 billion. We gave $1.8 billion in cash. … It’s insane. It’s ridiculous.”
After giving statements on the recent terrorist attacks and the Iran deal, President Trump took a few more questions from reporters.
Immediately, ABC News’ Jonathan Karl piped up over the rest of the reporters and asked a questiondesigned to derail the topic of the meeting.
“Mr. President, what about Michael Cohen. Are you considering pardoning him?”
President Trump then stopped the meeting,
pointed at Karl and said “STUPID QUESTION!”
Karl should know that President Trump will not put up with disrespectful reporters at these events. He has already humiliated CNN’s Jim Acosta several times and will continue to do it until the media starts treating him with respect.
